1stcom Web Hosting / Email InstructionsAccessing web mailOverviewYou can use the Mail Menu to access one of the three web mail programs included in cPanel. These programs will allow you to read your email through a browser window without having to make any changes to the computer you are on or leave any email on the computer you are on. Webmail is meant to be used as a temporary access to read email when you are away from home/office, when you return home be sure to dowload your email to your computer. Steps1 To access the WebMail, type your domain name /webmail in a browser. This will bring up a login screen 2 The username is your entire email address along with the password you created for that email account.. 3
A screen with several choices of Webmail will appear, choose
either Horde or SquirrelMail. 4 If you wish to login using a secure connection type in a browser https://yourdomainname.com:2096 5. Be sure to empty trash email or purge trash depending on which webmail system you use to prevent using space which will add up on your domains space used. Webmail is not to be used as an email client. Download all email as soon as you are back at your own computer! Logout of WebmailMake sure to log out of web mail when you are done. If you do not log out, it may be possible for another user of the computer you are on to access and your email by doing a page back. Setting Up Outlook Express & Others Under Outlook Express Go to Tools, scroll down to Accounts and click. A box will appear with tabs, Go to Mail tab then click the Add button, Mail: Display Name can be anything..............next You must now reenter the email account using the Tools Tab and go to properties................. Now You Are Done! Maybe......................if your ISP is blocking

check the button Add a new email account....................next Click the More Settings Box................ You are done and can now test! As with Outlook Express if your ISP is blocking outgoing email on
port 25 you will need to set the SMTP Port If this setup doesn't work for you delete the account from Outlook and set it up as Imap/SMTP using the same information just check the ports under more settings / advanced to make sure the incoming port is 143. to see Outlook 2007 click here
